Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home - Langley - 918-782-4400.......... Hervil Rudolph Harper, 91 year old Langley resident, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015. Hervil was born in Gainesville, MO on June 6, 1924 to Joseph and Mary (Hillhouse) Harper. He served in the United States Navy during WWII from 1943-1946. In January of 1987 he was united in marriage to Jocelyn Mattivi. Most of his working career he owned and operated his own businesses but after retirement worked for GRDA as Lake Patrol. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Otterbein Methodist Church where he was a greeter for 28 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. Survivors include his wife Jo Harper of the home, children: Lavern Costa and husband Pete of Hilo, Hawaii, Gary Harper and wife Niommi of Broken Arrow, Mike Harper and wife Karen of Bixby, Debbie Williams and husband Don of Beggs, step children: Vicki Mathews and husband Matt of Cleora, Terry Rollins and wife Mary of Lavaca, AR, and Jerry Rollins of Tulsa, 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wives Eula Harper, Alice "Dollie" Harper, and two brothers: Ralph and Hershel Harper. Funeral services will be 10 a.m, Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Otterbein Methodist Church with Pastor Ben Pascoe officiating. Interment will follow at Ketchum Cemetery.
