Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita, OK 918-256-5555.... Holly Wayne Wilson, long time Welch resident passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Heartsworth Senior Living Center in Vinita. He was born April 24, 1930 in Commerce, Oklahoma to Wayne Wilson and Alta (McBrian) Davis. Holly was raised by Ercie and Tina Wilson. He was the great-great grandson of Moses Puller, Chief of the Ottawa tribe. He attended and graduated from Commerce High School. He continued his education at NEO in Miami, Oklahoma, where he studied Automotive Repair. Holly joined the United States Army and served his country proudly. On August 7, 1992 he married Anna Marie (Evans) Wilson. Holly worked at Eagle Pitcher in the Maintenance department. He also worked in the silver mines and enjoyed tinkering on cars and working outdoors. He was a member of the Welch Assembly of God Church. Holly enjoyed playing bingo and watching westerns on television. He will be missed by all his friends and family. Preceding Holly Wilson in death are his parents, Wayne Wilson, and Alta Davis; an infant child; a son, Franklin Sloan; siblings, Rose Marie Weeden, Amaryllis Dearinger, Gail Wilson, and Shirley McHenry. Surviving Mr. Wilson are his wife Anna of the Home; children, Charlene Wilson and husband Anthony Shaffer, of Miami, Oklahoma, Charles Wilson and wife Rebecca, of Colorado, Paul Wilson, of Kansas City, Kansas, Janene Layton, Deanna Marquis and husband Tony, of Vinita, Carrie Camp and husband Gary, of Hollister Missouri, William Irving Southern of Welch, 10 grandchildren, 5, great grandchildren; siblings, Vernon Wilson and wife Shelvia, of Miami, Oklahoma, Judy Perry, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Joe Wilson, of Tulsa, Howard Foreman; Sister-in-Law, Tess Wilson, of California; Jerry McHenry; many other relatives and a host of friends. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
