Ida Mae Linn a ninety year old Colcord resident passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. She was born on April 11, 1922 in Delaware County, Oklahoma to D.K. and Mary (Teehee). Ida Worked as a poultry worker for Peterson's for years. She lived in Delaware County all of her life, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Colcord, enjoyed quilting, camping, gardening, cooking, and spending time outdoors walking and going to yard sales. Ida was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Newton Linn who passed away on June 25, 1995, two sisters; Lena Linn and Liza Speaker. Survivors include two daughters Louise Guinn and her husband David and Vivian Linn Punkin, five grandchildren Tami Jackson, Frank Guinn, Mike Guinn, Kelvin Guinn and John Blackfox, Jr. along with many nieces nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Row Cemetery in Colcord with Pastor Larry Ellis officiating. Services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Casket bearers will be Frank Guinn, Mike Guinn, Kelvin Guinn, John Black Fox, Jr. Boone Johnson, JD Jackson and David Guinn.
