John Oakley Money, Jr. 83 year old Port Charlotte, Florida resident, formerly of Langley, Oklahoma, died Sunday, October 23, 2011 in Port Charlotte. He was born November 14, 1927 in Hanna, Oklahoma to John Oakley Money, Sr. and Grace Alexander Money. John served his country in both the Navy and Air Force. He married Sylvia Tenneson in 1955 and was a mechanic and gas station owner. The family includes: his Children, Karen Money Stoever, St. Petersburg, FL, John Oakley Money, III of Port Charlotte, FL, Kara Grace Money of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Michael John Stoever, Alexandra Rochelle Money, Sevrin Zachery Money, Christopher Torsten Money; two brothers, Rev. Dale Money of Port Charlotte, Jerry Money of Noel, MO; three sisters, Naomi Dabbs of Goodman, MO, Noal Faye Guynn of Miami, OK, Betty Ralston of Independence, MO and Ingrid Sylvia Money, mother and grandmother of their children. Preceding him in death, includes his father John Oakley Money, Sr., mother, Gracie Ivy Alexander Money, two sisters, Geneva Ivy of Disney, OK, and Ineta Tabbs of Grandby, MO. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening October 28, 2011 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Chapel in Langley. The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Chapel in Langley with Rev. William Ralston officiating.
