J. B. Moore: Born in Jasper Co., Missouri on June 1, 1924 to Thomas A. Moore and Fern Alexander Moore. Married to Dorothy Inman Moore in 1944 for 48 years. This union produced four daughters: Cheryl Baker, Linda Baker, Jannetta Bryan and Chris Hill all of Ketchum, Ok. Dorothy preceded him in death in May 1992. On April 3, 1993 he married Sandra Shearer. This union added another daughter to the family, Stephanie Croswait of Edmond, Ok. In J.B.'s younger years he was a Golden Glove boxer, a 32nd degree Mason and belonged to the Shriners. He worked as a laborer on the construction of the Pensacola Dam. He was a commercial fisherman, then worked as a high explosive engineer at rock quarries and crushers in New Mexico, Arizona, North Dakota and Oklahoma. He retired from Lone Star Industries, Pryor OK plant in 1989. His hobbies were cooking, quail hunting, cock fighting, breeding and racing quarter horses, fishing and raising English bulldogs. He was known as the bulldog king. He raised and hunted coon hounds. He was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center and played harmonica in the praise team. Besides his first wife, Dorothy, he was proceeded in death by his parents, one sister, Ova Lee Arrasmith of Tecumseh, Ok, one son-in-law, James Baker of Ketchum, Ok, one grandson, one granddaughter, and two great grandsons. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Moore, of the home, the five listed daughters, three sisters, Margie Moore of Tecumseh, Ok, Colleen Vass of Antioch, CA, and Ida Bell Hampton of CA. He is survived by eighteen grandchildren, fifty-one great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Luginbuel Funeral Home of Langley, Ok is in charge of the services. Visitation will be Thursday, July 16, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Services will be held Friday, July 17, 2009 at 10:00 am at the Lighthouse Christian Center of Ketchum, Ok. Interment will be at the Ketchum Cemetery.
