Jack was born March 4, 1950 at Amarillo, Texas to Jack R. Everman, Sr. and Helen (Lomax) Everman. He grew up in Lawton and Ada, Oklahoma and Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. Jack graduated in 1968 from Lawton High School and attending OU, before graduating from Cameron University with a degree in chemistry in 1979. During his high school years and a young adult, Jack worked as a butcher and a carpenter and later was a Lawton police officer. He married Vickie Allen on December 29, 1978 at Lawton. In 1979, Jack began a career with Conoco that would take him to Billings, Montana and Ponca City, Oklahoma, before moving to Bartlesville in 2012. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ponca City, where he had taught Sunday school and attended Bartlesville First Wesleyan Church. Jack enjoyed tying flies and fly-fishing, camping, hiking, skiing and snowmobiling. He was a craftsman when it came to either wood or leather and he loved going to the movies and two-stepping. Survivors include his wife, Vickie of the home; two daughters, Traci Slief and husband, David of Bartlesville and Robbe Lohman and husband, Jeremy of Lawton; three brothers, Mike Everman and wife, Diane of St. Louis, Missouri, David Everman and wife, Cheryl of Federalsburg, Maryland and Doug Everman of Chandler, Oklahoma; one sister, Nancy Owens and husband, Rick of Lawton; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces and other family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
