Jack V. Woodall age 91 of Vinita died Monday December 29, 2008 at Rosewood Terrace in Vinita. He was born August 3, 1917 in Carselowey, OK the son of Isaac and Anna (Merrill) Woodall. Jack was reared in Grove where he graduated from Grove High School. He and Lorene Rogers were united in marriage in Commerce, OK on December 23, 1941 and made their home in Vinita, joining the First Baptist Church serving as Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He worked at the Powder Plant in Pryor, OK for five years then began a 32 year career with REA working in Right of Way Acquisitions until his retirement. Jack and Lorene were avid fisherman and enjoyed yard work and working around the home. Jack leaves behind his wife of sixty seven years, Lorene of the home, nieces and nephews, Jack Woodall of Bluejacket, John Woodall of Tahlequah, OK, Christine Hilderbrand of Owasso, OK, Jerry Lingo of Vinita, John R. Lingo of Bernice, OK, Richard Lingo of Sherman, TX and Vonda Absher of Vinita, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday January 2, 2009 in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Skip McClain officiating.
