Jacquline "Jackie" Stover, 42-year-old Nowata resident, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center. Mrs. Stover was born July 5, 1967 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Frank and Ruby Marshall. She received her LPN license from Tri-County Tech and had worked for some area nursing homes. On September 5, 1993, she married Wes Stover in Nowata and they have resided in Nowata since. Mrs. Stover loved her career as a nurse and cherished the time she spent with her patients. She also loved writing poetry, camping and fishing, and traveling. She had a great sense of humor and was known as a practical joker among members of the family. Mrs. Stover was also known as the peacemaker in the family and loved spending time with her children, nieces, and nephews. Mrs. Stover is survived by her husband Wes Stover of Nowata; by three daughters, Amber Marshall of Nowata, Courtney Marshall of Nowata, and Brianna Marshall of Nowata; by one step-son, Scott Stover of Midwest City; by two brothers Ben and Ernie; and by four sisters, Tammy, Marilyn, Goldie, and Sheila; as well as by a host of loving family and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Stover will be held at 10:00am, Friday, August 7, 2009 at the Living Word Family Church with Rev. Arlis Henegar officiating. Interment will follow in the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to the Benjamin Funeral Home of Nowata.
