James Lloyd Bullock, Jr. 65 year old Vinita resident, died Wednesday April 18, 2012 at his home in Vinita. He was born November 3, 1946 in Vinita to James L. Bullock, Sr. and Josephine L. (Hardrick) Bullock. James was a 1964 graduate of Vinita High School, he later went into the United States Army during the Vietnam War, he was a Sergeant. After the Army, he went to work for Burlington Northern Railroad for several years. James was a member of the United Missionary Baptist Church of Vinita, the American Legion Dale Peace Post #40, and the V. F. W. He enjoyed golfing, watching westerns, 50's music and spending time with his friends and family. The family includes: his son Michael Bullock of Vinita; siblings, Edward Ray Bullock (Brendia) of Memphis, TN, Cecil Leroy Bullock (Marilyn) of Springfield, MO, Connie Louise Bowlin (Hubert) of Chelsea, Eva Mae Lopes (Miguel) of Chester, VA, Delores Stephens of Tulsa, Candas Ann Bullock of New Orleans, LA, Jacqueline Bullock of Colonial Heights, VA, Danny Kent Bullock of Lithonia, GA; sisters, Cheryl Bullock of Omaha, NE, Marva Evans of Anchorage, AK, Janet Downing of Vinita; Aunts, Louise Phillips of Vinita, and Wilda Hardrick of Wichita, KS; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death were his father, James L.; mother, Josephine; the mother of his son, Eloise Bullock; brother Marvin; and brother-in-law Rickey Stephens.
