James Capps

The world was blessed with arrival of Jim Capps born to Cora and Ambrose Capps on June 21, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this world to rest in the arms of his Heavenly Father on May 19, 2012. He was preceded in death by a grandson, his parents, two sisters, two brothers and several step siblings. He is survived by his beloved life companion, Jo Ell and family, Mary Jane Akin and Greg, Jo Carol Hanna and Curtis Williams and Kevin. He is also survived by son Allan Capps and Sherrie and daughter Jamie Maxwell and Phillip. Jim was so proud to tell everyone that he had eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Prior to health problems, Jim was a race car driver and enthusiastic fan of the sport. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was so proud of his beautiful flower garden. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Chapel in Langley. Interment will follow at Ketchum Cemetery.
