James Andrew Grapevine, age 45, left this world on September 4, 2012 as a result of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Needlessly shot and killed, he leaves behind a loving daughter, Heather Dawn Grapevine, of the home and wife, Melody Kralichek Grapevine of Pryor, OK. He was born on September 16, 1966 in Peoria, Illinois to Loretta Fitzgerald. As a teenager, he lived with and took care of his loving grandmother, Maurine Snodgrass, until she passed away in 1984. He is now with her and will be rewarded for the excellent care he bestowed on her at such a young age. Mr. Grapevine was well-known in the Langley-Ketchum area as Grapevine Glass which he co-partnered with his brother, Terry Grapevine. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Ketchum Fire Department. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Loretta and Pat Fitzgerald, a sister Jamie Grapevine-Clayton and her husband Anthony, a sister Carrie Fitzgerald and her partner Jess Turnbough, all of Vinita, a brother, Terry Grapevine and fiancé Dee Ann Midget of Langley and his very close friend, David Harper of Langley, Ok. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Riverside Pavilion below the Pensacola Dam in Langley. Arrangements are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
