James Clifford Hindman was born May 19, 1947 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Joseph David and Mary Isabel (Hifler) Hindman. He passed from this life November 7, 2011, at his home in Phoenix, Arizona. He was 64 years old. Jim attended and graduated from Midland High School, in Midland, Texas. He continued his education at Texas Tech University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Math. Jim entered the United States Air Force in 1970 and served his country until 1974. In 1975 Jim moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he worked for the State of Arizona as a computer data programmer. He enjoyed his friends, playing cards (bridge), watching sports, and supporting the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team. Jim also enjoyed taking cruises, dining out, and especially loved his cats. He will be missed by all who knew him. Preceding Mr. Hindman in death are his parents Joe and Mary Hindman. He is survived by his brother Richard (Rick) Hindman and his wife Deborah, of Temple, Texas, a niece, Devin Christine Malaise and her husband Chuck, a nephew, Joseph Ryan Hindman and his wife Kelli, great nephews Hayden Marshal Malaise, and Carson Richard, Malaise, a great niece, Irelyn Elizabeth Hindman, other relatives and a host of friends.
