Worley-Luginbuel Funeral, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261. James Patrick "Pat" Hittle, 52 year old resident of Kansas, Oklahoma, passed away on September 18, 2018 after an 8 year long hard battle with cancer.

James was born on October 18, 1965 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was the loving son of Harold Hittle and Violet (Davis) Hittle. James grew up in Grove, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Ridgerunner High school band where he played the trumpet. James was in the graduating class of 1983. James served in the United States Army for eight years. He served during Desert Storm in Iraq, 1st Military Police Company, attached to the 1st Infantry Division, known as 'The Big Red One'. James was deployed for a year to Korea, and lived in Germany for many years. He continued his service by working 9 years as a Systems Analyst for the Army/Air Force Exchange Service. James earned his Master's Degree in Business. James was united in marriage to his high school sweet heart, Flossie Gwen Honeycutt. James loved to farm, he enjoyed fishing when he was younger, tinkering with computers, playing computer games, and riding his motorcycle.

James was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Flossie Hittle of the home, two sons; Forrest Hittle of Springdale, Arkansas and Alex Hittle of Kansas, Oklahoma, two daughters; Amber Swanson and husband Andrew Jr, of Decatur, Texas, and Angela Schumacher and husband Taylor of Irving, Texas, his brother Richard Townly and wife Beth of Memphis, Tennessee, his sister Connie Utley and husband Dennis of Chandler, Texas. James was blessed with 8 grandchildren; Angel, Alicia, Anna, Alex, Violet, Karley, Riley and Gwenyth.

A celebration of Jame's life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma with Mr. Frank Miller officiating. Online condolences can be made by viewing James' Book of Memories at www.honoringmemories.com.
