James Leroy "Jim" Hollman, was born on December 28, 1929 the only child of Harvey Hollman and Louise (Nair) Hollman. He went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2010. Jim was raised on the farm west of Vinita. He attended Ironside Grade school and graduated from Vinita High School in 1948. He worked for Vinita Public Schools for many years doing maintenance and school bus driving before his retirement in 1992. Jim taught Sunday school at Timberhill Baptist Church where he was a member for many years. He loved the outdoor life; gardening, bird watching, fishing, hunting, and relaxing at the lake. He also loved his church family and cooking, especially for fellowship dinners at church. Jim leaves behind his loving companion of 47 years, Vivian Stelle of Bluejacket, daughters Paula Bogdanoff and husband Steve of Groten, Massachusetts, Carolyn Williams and husband Bo of London, England, Laura Woodall and husband Jack of Bluejacket, and son Herbert Stelle and wife Annette of Vinita, grandchildren; Ashley Williams and wife Sally, Pharis Gonzaliz, JoAnna Crafton and husband John, Joshua Woodall, Amber Epperson and husband A. J., as well as 8 great grandchildren. His celebration of life ceremony will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Timberhill Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Lee officiating.
