Jamiason Scott Westpfahl, 14-year-old Nowata resident passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville. Jamiason Scott Westpfahl was born November 9, 1995 in Sterling, Illinois to Jamie Scott Westpfahl and Lisa Marie Cordes-Westpfahl. Jamiason just completed the 7th grade at Nowata Public Schools. He loved fishing and spent countless hours hanging out at the Nowata Fire Department. He also spent a lot of time texting and playing video games. Jamiason is survived by his father, Jamie Scott Westpfahl and his wife Patty; by his mother Lisa Maria Bright and her husband William; by maternal grandmothers, Carol Jones and Joy Albert; by paternal grandmother Nancy Westpfahl; by brothers, Justin Westpfahl, Aaron Westpfahl, and Randall Moss; by sisters, Heidi Westpfahl, Angelena Moss, and Melissa Moss; by step-sisters, Kaley Bright and Haley Bright; by aunts, Karen Comiford, Beth Albert, Donna Long, Jodi Weed and husband Larry, Tammy Pence and husband Ed, and Cindy Christianson; by uncles Lonnie Westpfahl and wife Linda, Art Cordes, and Kenny Stark. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Adam Cordes and by his maternal grandmother's fiancée, Mike Chambers.
