Janet Maynard

Janet Ann Maynard, 59, a longtime Grove resident passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 20, 2008. She was born on September 26, 1948 to Andy and Wanda (Forrest) Dominguez in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Mrs. Maynard received her teaching certificate from the University of Arkansas and went on to obtain her LPN license. From 1973 to 1996 she worked as a nurse at nursing homes then from 1996 to 2004 she was the Administrator at a Baxter Springs, KS nursing home then Monroe Manor until 2004. Her father Andy Dominquez preceded her in death. Survivors include her mother Wanda Dominquez, her husband Bob Maynard of the home, two sons Todd Maynard of Grove and Nathan Buchanan and his wife Mandy of Tulsa, two daughters Terry Kenney of Casa Grande, AZ and Sherry Sherrill and her husband Randy of Bella Vista, AR, Grandchildren Jessie Kenney, Leslie Kenney, Ryan Sherrill and his wife Jamie, Luke Sherrill and Alisha Sherrill. A Brother Gary Dominguez and his wife Rayetta, two nieces Chelsea Bacon and her husband Tyler and Andrea Dominquez all of Grove. Along with two uncles Jack Forrest of Grove and William Forrest of Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove with Brother Gary Dominguez officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, OK. Services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
