Funeral Services for Janice Kay Edmondson will be Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., January 25, 2012 at the Cornerstone Community Church in Nowata, Oklahoma with Terry Harmon officiating. Janice Kay Edmondson, 69, of Nowata, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was born on November 16, 1942 to Robert and Virginia (Parrish) Kier in Nowata, Oklahoma. Janice was married to Glen Wood Edmondson before he passed away in 1997. She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church. Janice loved to read and do crossword puzzles. She had twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren which she loved spending time with and enjoyed playing with them. She was a newspaper carrier for the Tulsa World and the Bartlesville Examiner newspapers. Janice also enjoyed her cats, loved to sew and work in her flower and vegetable gardens. She will be missed by all who knew her. Janice is survived by four children, Donna Laughlin and husband Robert of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Robert Lewis and wife Marie of Claremore, Oklahoma, Almeda Fairchild and husband Joe of Waco, Texas, and Wendell Edmondson of Nowata, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, Lancy Schmit, Heather Loden, Bryan Burch, Erin Hearn, Robert Lewis, Jr., Keith Lewis, Cassie Lewis, Nichole Lewis, Scott Lewis, Tiffany Earl, Robbi Jordan Lewis, and Timothy Lewis, and nine great grandchildren. Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Glen Wood "Mutt" Edmondson, her parents, Robert and Virginia Kier, and a son, Carl Tom Lewis.
