Jason Kyle Cook, 36, ended his life on July 27, 2012, in Seattle, WA. Jason was born January 7, 1976, in Enid, OK, to Carl and Becky (Lyon) Cook. Jason attended schools in Springfield and Republic, MO, and Vinita, OK. He was in the Wings program for gifted students. He worked at Kraft Foods and National Audio Co. in Springfield, Pillsbury in Vinita, and Nature's Path in WA. He was seriously injured in a car crash 4 yrs ago, and had 2 work-related accidents after that. Despite his setbacks, Jason was looking forward to taking classes in the fall. Jason loved sports, animals, the outdoors, fishing, camping, and playing video games. His survivors include: special friend Shana Blake and her sons, Adam and Lucius, Bellingham, WA; father and step-mother Carl and Becky Cook, Vinita, OK; mother Becky Cook, Battlefield, MO, half-sister Lacey Cook, Claremore, OK; step-sister Brandy Niggeman, Vinita, OK; step-brother Travis Thompson, and numerous other relatives and friends who loved him. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 7th, at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, OK. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
