Jason Dean Hughes, 31 year old Langley resident, died from injuries received in an auto accident on Sunday, February 12, 2012. He was born November 12, 1980 in Claremore to Dean and Debra (Mayes) Hughes. Jason was a 1999 graduate of Ozark Adventist Academy in Gentry, Arkansas. He worked with his father at Dean Hughes Painting Company. Jason was a member of the Ketchum Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was an avid Motorcycle, ATV, Four Wheel Drive Truck enthusiast. Jason, his friends and family made an annual trip during Thanksgiving weekend each year to the Little Sahara State Park to enjoy ATV riding. Preceding him in death was his grandmother Ruby Mayes, uncles, Jerry Robert Mayes, James Creason, grandparents, Johnnie and Louise Wickham. Survivors include: his parents, Dean and Debra Hughes of Langley, wife, Crystal Crabtree and her children Samantha and Zane Crabtree; grandfather Jerry Mayes and wife Kay; brother Robert Hughes, all of Langley and numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives. The funeral will be held Friday, February 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ketchum Seventh Day Adventist Church, with Pastors John Moyer and Perry Flerchinger officiating.
