Jean Margaret Clark, passed away at the Integris Grove General Hopsital on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the age of 95. Jean was born May 28, 1917 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of the late Carl Penney and Ida Neptune Penney. She was a homemaker who valued education, serving on the Union Valley Kansas School District Board for many years. She was later Chief Teller at Manhattan Federal Savings and Loan and worked as a secretary for the Naval Flight Laboratory at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyards. Among her favorite things were cats, birds, and needlework. Her positive, upbeat attitude, ability to make a pun and sense of humor sustained her and those around her until her death. She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Robert Clark. She is survived by her only child Michael A. Clark and his wife Sandra S. of Holt, Michigan. The funeral service will be held at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 2PM with Rev. Gary Bishop, officiating. The burial will take place in Fort Scott National Cemetery, Fort Scott, KS. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK.
