Jeanette Louise Wood, age 73 and resident of Jenks, Oklahoma, passed away on October 16, 2014. Jeanette Louise Lowe was born on April 14, 1941 in Bartlesville. She was the daughter of Orville W. Lowe and Pauline Lily (Caudle) Lowe. She grew up in Bartlesville, attending and graduating from College High. She furthered her education by attending NSU in Tahlequah and TU, Tulsa. She continued her education by attending and graduating from OCU, Oklahoma City, with a degree in Geophysics and Adult Education. After graduation from college, she worked for Cities Service Oil Company, living in Ochelata and Bartlesville. After retirement, she moved to Lenexa, Kansas, moving to Bartlesville and then Jenks where she had lived for the past 11 years. Jeanette was a Master Gardener and was involved in local garden clubs. She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren. She was a loving, caring and funny daughter, mother, grandmother, friend, as well as a wonderful aunt to her many loving nieces and nephews. She was known to all that knew her for her "big personality". Many of those friends thought of her as their "best friend". She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Lanette Ryan and her husband, Charles, of Lanexa, Kansas, and Sheilah Elaine Coil of Jenks, Oklahoma; brother, David Wayne Lowe and his wife, Debbie, of Buffalo, Kansas; sister, Sylvia Porter and her husband, Sam, of Duncan, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Alanna, Spenser, Connor, Sierra and Isabel Ryan.
