Jerry Cotter

Jerry Dee Cotter, Grove resident, died at his home January 25, 2011 at the age of 75 years. He was born April 12, 1935 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to his parents, Everet Dee and Glendola Marie (Hayes) Cotter. Jerry graduated from Miami High School and joined the US Army. Jerry served his country starting in 1954 until his retirement in 1975. He loved everything about cars, from working on them to driving them. Jerry was a history buff, who also enjoyed fishing, reading books, and spending time with friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons, Joseph Dee Cotter and John William Cotter, and his sister, Patricia (Cotter) True and her husband Ron. DUE TO THE INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE FAMILY HAS POSTPONED THE MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR JERRY DEE COTTER UNTIL MID-MARCH. THE FUNERAL HOME WILL RELEASE FURTHER DETAILS AS THEY BECOME AVAILABLE. Interment of Jerry's cremains will be held at a later date. Services are entrusted to Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
