Jerry Wayne Irons, age 57 of Delaware, died Sunday, May 19, 2013. Jerry was born in Nowata on April 23, 1956 to Roy and Jessie (Little) Irons. On June 25, 1974 he was united in marriage to Melody Hicks. Jerry enjoyed spending time with family especially the grandkids as well as hunting, fishing, and metal detecting. He also did fish taxidermy. Survivors include his wife Melody Irons of the home, father Roy Irons, sons: Christopher Irons of Nowata, Bryan Irons of Delaware, and Steven Irons of Delaware, and five grandchildren: KiamBra, Hailey, Dalton, Andrew, and Emily. He is preceded in death by his mother Jessie Irons, and brothers: Roy Lee Irons and Arthur Ray "Buddy" Irons.
