Jerry DeWayne Kennard (Aka) Hank, age 62, of Coffeyville, Kansas went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.
Jerry was born on December 13, 1956 in Lenapah, Oklahoma to James and Georgia (Moore) Kennard. Jerry grew up and attended school in Lenapah, Oklahoma. He worked for Spears Manufacturing for 33 years in Caney, Kansas. He enjoyed farming, raising all kinds of cattle, gardening, and fishing. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his grandkids and family. He was very loved by whomever he came into contact with. Jerry was united in marriage to Janice Fulcher on November 20, 1999. He was a member of the St. John Church of Faith, where he sang in the choir.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Prentis Johnson, Nathaniel Kennard, Raymond Kennard, and Robert Kennard his sisters; James Anna Thomas and Rosie Ledman.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Janice, sons; Jerry Kennard Jr. (Starla) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jessie Harris of Joplin, Missouri, Sedric Fulcher of Wichita, Kansas, Mondriel Fulcher of Coffeyville, Kansas, and Marquis Fulcher of Norton, Kansas, sisters; Naomi Sweeney of Wasilla, Alaska, and a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with burial at Hickory Creek Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank everyone for all acts of kindness.
