Jerry Littrell

Disney, Oklahoma Jerry Don Littrell of Disney died Monday December 4, 2006 at the Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, Ok. He was 82. Jerry was born July 13, 1924 to Arthur "A.J." and Anna (Vernon) Littrell in Muskogee, Ok. He served his country in the United States Army during W.W.II., receiving Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 2 Stars, Good Conduct Medal, and the Bronze Arrowhead. Jerry worked as a General Contractor and for Allen Edwards Inc., later returning to remodeling and construction before his retirement. After moving to Disney in 1993, he continued remodeling by overseeing and helping with various projects to better his Lakemont community. He served on the Board of directors for Lakemont Shores; he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking out, and camping. Jerry married Bonni (Johnson) Littrell June 4, 1946 in Tulsa, Ok. She preceded him in death December 1, 1993. He was also preceded in death by one son, Todd Littrell in 1989. Survivors include four children: Tim Littrell of Tulsa, Teri Kruger of Tulsa, Julie Isch of Oklahoma City, and Niles Littrell of Coal Creek, Co. Three sisters: JoAnn Wyly of Tulsa, Joyce Carter of Porter, Ok, and Linda Myers of Muskogee, Ok. Eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, and his ever faithful companion, Sable. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 8, 2006 at the Luginbuel Chapel in Langley, Ok. The Grove Veterans Ritual Team to conduct Military Rites.
