Jerry Raymond

Grove, Oklahoma Jerry Wilson Raymond of Grove, Ok died Monday May 1, 2006 in Grove after a long illness. He was 70. Jerry was born December 30, 1935 to Rufus and Mildred (Wilson) Raymond at the Dodge Community east of Grove. He graduated from Grove High School and went on to serve his country in the Unites States Army. Jerry was an air craft parts salesman for J & S Sales in Dallas, Tx. He enjoyed playing golf, watching NASCAR races, playing cards, and dominos. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church at New Hope, Tx. Survivors include four children: Tammy Raymond of McKinney, Tx., Jamie Collins of Burbank, Ca., Bryan Raymond and wife Jennifer of Spring, Tx., and Brent Raymond also of Spring, Tx. One brother: Dee Raymond of Grove, Ok. Two sisters: Patsy Miller and Jane Bushyhead, both of Grove. Four grandchildren: Landry Raymond, Tony Collins, Riley Collins, and Guy Collins. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday May 5, 2006 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Ok. with Rev. Dolphus Blevins officiating. Interment will follow at the Fields Cemetery in Grove. The Grove Veterans Ritual Team will conduct military honors. Family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
