Jessie Irons

Jessie Mae Irons was born November 9, 1932 in Delaware, Oklahoma to Ralph and Nancy Ann (Corbin) Little. She passed from this life Thursday, April 3, 2008, after reaching 75 years, 4 months, and 24 days. She attended Delaware schools and on September 15, 1951 she married Roy Irons in Nowata. They made their home in the Delaware area and lived there the remainder of her life. She was a member of the Childers Full Gospel Church and the Enid House of Prayer. Jessie enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She especially loved watching her children and grandchildren play baseball, softball, and basketball. She will be missed by all who knew her. Preceding Mrs. Irons in death are her parents, Ralph and Nancy Little; two sons, Roy lee Irons, and Arthur Ray "Buddy" Irons; and a brother, James L. Little. Survivors include her husband Roy, of the home; one son, Jerry Irons, and his wife Melody, of Delaware; three sisters, Mary West, Verna West, and Bonnie Little, all of Delaware; five grandchildren, Chris Irons, Bryan Irons, Steve Irons, Ashley Irons, and Amanda Irons; two great grandchildren, KaimBra Christopher Michael Irons, and Hailey Lynn Irons; many other relatives and a host of friends.
