Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555..... Jessie Josephine "Jo" Miller, 78 year old Vinita resident, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 29, 2017. Jo was born in Vinita on March 9, 1939 to Thomas and Ada (Allen) Kirby. On June 8, 1957 she was united in marriage to Herbert Miller and together they raised four daughters. Jo was a hard working woman. When first married she worked for Southwestern Bell, then was the bookkeeper for Miller Feed Store in Pryor, then worked in the sewing department of Walmart, owned 3 businesses in Ketchum: Big W Drive-In, Herb's Quick Shop, and Herb's Little Store, and lastly worked as a Relator/Broker for Century 21 before retiring. She also enjoyed painting, ceramics, canning, and sewing and was a member of the Vinita Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters: Pam Rhinehart and husband Doug of Tulsa, Connie Smith of Broken Arrow, Janice Deatherage and husband Vernon of Vinita, and Sandra Landburg and husband David of Moore, siblings: Richard "Dick" Kirby and wife Dixie of White Oak, Marie Gilbert of Vinita, and Maryann McKnight and husband Robert of Ketchum, 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Herbert, brother Frank Kirby, sister Hazel Conard, granddaughter Kirby Lee Smith, and son-in-law Brian Smith. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m., Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Vinita Church of Christ with Preacher Bob Hampton officiating. Interment will follow at Carselowey Cemetery.
