Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. 918-256-5555 Jim Buffalo, 83 year old Vinita resident, went to be with the Lord the evening of July 4th 2017. He was born in Chelsea Oklahoma on February 5th 1934 to Joseph and Delma (Gates) Buffalo. He served in the United States Air Force from December 1952 to December 1956 and was stationed at Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks Alaska in 1955 with the 58th weather reconnaissance Squadron. He moved to Tucson and worked at Hughes Aircraft as a supervisor and manager for many years and retired from there. He was always a Jolly and Fun loving person and the life of the party! "Rest In Peace Dad". We will love and miss you forever and you will always be in our hearts! He was a loving father and grandfather and leaves behind three children, Randy and wife Denise Buffalo, Steven Buffalo all of Tucson, AZ, Laura (Buffalo) Birmingham and husband Art of Pennsylvannia, four grandkids, Devin, Dylan, Ilyssa and Stephano; four great grandchildren and a sister, Betty Brown of Chelsea. The family will receive friends from 9 - 10 AM on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. The graveside service and Military Rites will follow at 10:30 AM at the Chelsea Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
