Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home of Langley, 918-782-4400. John Vincent Allen, 83 year old Tiajuana resident, died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Claremore Veterans Center. He was born on June 23, 1932 in Quinton, Oklahoma to Leona Eunice (Hook) and Jessie James Allen. John served his country from 1950 to 1962 in the United States Army during the Korean Confict. He married Constance Louise Smith on June 28, 1962, she preceded him in death on August 27, 1995. John later married Patsy Morrison in 2002 and she preceded him in death in 2009. John was an independent truck driver, he was with Willis Shaw Trucking for many years. He was a volunteer for the Tiajuana Fire Department. John enjoyed hunting and fishing in Oklahoma and Colorado. Preceding him in death were his parents, wives, children, Barbara Ann Allen, Paul Virgil Allen, and Margaret Allen. The family includes: his children, David Allen of Tulsa, Carolyn Karr (John) of Tulsa, Pamela Senter (John) of Pass Christian, MS, Leona Williams (Johnny) of Langley, Toney Allen (Christine) of Miami, John Stanley Allen (Winifred) of Disney, Richard Allen (Lanie) of Ketchum; step-son, James "Red" Smith (Linda) of Jay; siblings, Sylvia Leona Smith, Betty Rowe, Rachael Holder, June Ferrell, Charles Allen, Edward Allen, Jimmy Allen, Floyd Allen, Donald Allen, Shirley Carter, Fred Allen and James Allen. Twenty-three Grandchildren, forty two great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Chapel in Langley. The service will be held on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Chapel in Langley. Interment and Military Rites will follow at the Ketchum Cemetery.
