John Edward Daniel passed away Monday September 17, 2018 in Delaware, Oklahoma. He was born June 6, 1940 to Bruce Daniel Jr. and Grace Sanders Fussell in Childers, Oklahoma. John was raised by his grandparents Bruce and Georgia Daniel of Childers, Oklahoma. He received his education from Childers School District where he graduated. In 1962 he enlisted in the Army and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where he studied as a sharpshooter. After being discharged out of the Army in 1964, he gained employment working off shore for Avendale Ship Yard. John and his mom moved back to Delaware, Oklahoma in 2000. John enjoyed being outdoors whether it was mowing yards, cleaning up the side of country roads or spending time outdoors with his red heeler. He could repair just about anything and was a "jack of all trades". John was a man of his word, he always put others first. He held a special place in his heart for family and his red heeler. John will be missed by all who knew him.
John is survived by his cousin Donna Hawkins of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Two Aunts: Clyandia Harrington of Delaware, Oklahoma, Dora Mae and Jim husband Pendleton of Bartlesville; Best Friend Brent Bell of Nowata, Oklahoma, many other cousins, and as well a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bruce Daniel Jr. and Grace Sanders Fussell and his grandparents Bruce and Georgia Daniel.
