Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555.......... John Raymond Doerflinger, 71 year old Vinita resident, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015. He was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on July 18, 1944 to J. R. and Rita (Carnahan) Doerflinger. He graduated from Alluwe High School in 1962. John worked as a truck driver for 34 years with an impressive record of 2 million miles without an accident. He was also an avid golfer and lived in Portland, Oregon for several years. Survivors include his parents J. R. and Colleen Doerflinger of Vinita, sister Virginia Selman of Vinita, brother Larry Doerflinger of Claremore, uncle Bud Doerflinger of Claremore, as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Memorial services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Stephens officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
