John Edward Downing Obit John downing age 78 of Grove, OK died Friday April 9, 2010 at the Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, OK. The son of Charley and Lillie Downing, he was born on January 30, 1932 in Grove, OK. John married Dorothy Mosby on July 2, 1956 in Miami, OK. She died on March 25, 2010. John had worked for Har-Ber village for over 31 years retiring in 2004. Survivors include a son Ralph Downing of Jay, 3 daughters Kassie Downing and Juanita Pitts in Jay, Ok, and Brenda Edwards in Tahlequah, Ok, a sister Bessie Norris in Boise, Idaho, and 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday April 13, 2010 at the Worley-Luginbuel funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kenneth Cope officiating. The interment will be in the Butler Cemetery.
