Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home - 918-782-4400...... John Buster Hogan, age 87 passed away on October 24, 2017 at the Claremore Veteran's Center. John was born June 9th, 1930 in Strang, Oklahoma to Lawrence and Thelma Hogan. John served in the US Army as a Military Policeman, 4th Infantry Division in Korea. His working career included: Oklahoma Highway Patrol Dispatcher and Chemical Operator for 33 plus years for John Deere/Nipak/Kaiser Fertilizer Plant in Pryor, Oklahoma. He later enjoyed his work as a Bus driver for Pelivan Transit, Jay and Ketchum Schools. He was a longtime member of the Pryor Elks Lodge, Spavinaw American Legion and St Francis Catholic Church in Langley. Survived by his children, Diann Stapleton, Mary Hogan, Janea Hogan and Dana Bennetch. Grand Children Dodge Hogan and Jason Willis. Great Granddaughter Lindsay and Husband Cody Conner. Great-great Granddaughter Callyn Conner and Cousin Vernon "Russ" Hogan. Services will be held Friday October 27th, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery, Spavinaw Oklahoma.
