John B. "Bunky" Krouse Jr., 85, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center in Nowata, Oklahoma. He was born on February 25, 1933 to John B. Krouse Sr. and Lorene Tatum in Nowata, Oklahoma. John attended school in the Nowata Public School system where he graduated in 1953.
John married the love of his life, Barbara on May 1, 1953 in Alluwe, Oklahoma. After they got married, he joined the Army to serve his country. He ended his career as a supervisor for the North American Exploration and Production for Phillips Petroleum Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma where he retired after 30 years of being dedicated to his job.
John loved spending time with family, friends, and his pet dogs Dillion and Dolly, crappie fishing and noodling. John was a very caring person with a big heart. He had unconditional love for his family and will be missed enormously by his family and all who knew him. John was a member of the First Church of God in Nowata. He was also a member of the Masons, city government, 1033 Ambulance Service and was a city commissioner.
John is preceded in death by his parents, John B. Krouse Sr. and Loren Tatum and One Son; James Ray Krouse
John is survived by his wife Barbara L. Krouse of the home, two Children; Bradley Glen Jordan and wife Beverly A. of Rogers, Arkansas and Johnny W. Krouse and wife Kelly of Nowata, Oklahoma, five grandchildren; Susan B. Jordan, James Bailey Krouse, Kayse Lynn Krouse, Joshua Wayne Krouse, Colby Ryan Krouse and two great grandchildren.
