Post doctorate studies followed at the University of Illinois. John enjoyed fishing (especially for steelhead with his son in Idaho). He attended Kiwanis Club on Wednesdays and Arvest Friday bank meetings followed by lunch with the "Good Old Boys" at the Country Club. John loved to read and kept up on new advances in chemistry. John was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers and his son, Lee. John was a kind man who was respected by his friends and fellow workers. Most of all he loved his wife and was very proud of his family.
