John "Rivers" Williams, age 87, died on Monday June 21, 2010 at the Miami Nursing Home. The son of John and Elizabeth (Bowman) Williams, Rivers was born on December 28, 1922. John worked as a labor in the agriculture industry. Rivers was preceded in death by his parents, and four siblings. Rivers is survived by two nieces Paulina Hoover, Linda Dietgma, and great nephew Bucky Hoover. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., on Friday, June 25, 2010 at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
