John Rosberg Jr., 80 year old, Jay Oklahoma resident passed away Monday October 18, 2010 following an extended illness. John was born on December 27, 1929 in San Francisco, California to John and Vivian (Shauger) Rosberg. John worked most of his life as a truck driver, and married Alean Eastep in 1947 in Reno, Nevada. He was an avid angler who enjoyed fishing for all different kinds of fish but especially, trout, bass, salmon, and deep-sea fishing. John was preceded in death by one brother, Jerard Rosberg, three sisters, Francien Johnson, Vivian Rosenberg, and Janet Chappel. John is survived by two sons Delbert and wife Dottie Rosenburg of Newbern, North Carolina, and Glenn Rosenburg of Jay, Oklahoma, one daughter Cheryl James and husband Brian of Vacavilla, California, ten grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held on Sunday. Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, in Jay, Oklahoma.
