Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555.... John R. Webb, 92 year old Vinita resident, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017. John was born in Muskogee on September 5, 1925 to Ted D. and Hazel (Hoffman) Webb. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. On April 26, 1947 he was united in marriage to Anna Jean Jones. Together they ran a dairy for 10 years in Muskogee and then moved 6 � miles north of Vinita and ran Webb Dairy for an additional 21 years until they retired in 1978. John was very proud of his work and was named Master Dairyman of N.E. Oklahoma in 1965. He served on the Bluejacket School Board for 6 years, the R.E.C. Board for 3 ½ years, and has been a member of Vinita First Baptist Church since 1970. Survivors include his son Jody Webb and wife Kari of Sallisaw, daughter-in-law Brenda Webb of Tulsa, five grandchildren: Lindsay Farr and husband Taylor of Bixby, Lauren Webb of Tulsa, Sarah Adcock and husband Levy of Claremore, and Madysn Webb and Mason Plank both of Sallisaw, four great-grandchildren: Bailey, Merrick, Evan, and Anna, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Anna Webb, son Ted Webb, and siblings: Winifred Crosby, Ruth Webb, Jim Webb, and Boyd Webb. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Vinita with Pastor Skip McClain officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
