Johnnie Joseph Wickham was born to John Martin and Lena Elizabeth "Klein" Wickham July 21st 1928 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He died January 3rd 2009 in Vinita, Oklahoma. John lived his early years in and around Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He attended church school in Sapulpa. After being drafted into the US Army in 1953 and taking his basic training at Camp Pendleton, California. John spent his tour of duty in France. After returning home from the service he met and married Louise "King" Hughes. They were married in 1962 in Sadalia, MO. In 1968 John and Louise moved to the Ketchum area to put Dean, Larry and Jonnice in church school. John worked construction in and around the Grand Lake for many years. The last 20 years he operated his own lawn and clean up service for area lake home owners. John loved to fish and travel. In his younger days he hitchhiked from coast to coast just working in one town long enough to make the money to get to the next. John was a very generous person and could always be found helping out his friends and fellow church members. He was a long time member of the Ketchum Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Louise, two brothers -William and Stephen Wickham. One son James Creason and one grandson Sam Creason. He is survived by his children Bobby Creason and wife Pat of Sapulpa, Dean Hughes and wife Debra of Langley, OK - Larry Hughes and wife Loretta of Langley, OK and Jonnice Mason and husband Dean of Ashland City, Tennessee. Two brothers- Jerome Wickham and wife Beverly of Norman, OK. Vernon Wickham and wife Ruth of Sapulpa, OK. Two Sisters - Emily Ortego of Sapulpa, OK and Vivian Sams also of Sapulpa. John had 12 grand children and 13 great grand children.
