Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-253-3222. Joseph Anthony Blackbear, 61 year old Jay, Oklahoma resident, passed away on May 17, 2016 in Kansas, Oklahoma. Joseph was born on January 14, 1955 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was the son of Jim and Mary (Levi) Blackbear. Joseph was a self employed auto mechanic. He was always fixing and trading automobiles. He enjoyed fishing and visiting with family. Joseph made sure that his children and grandchildren always had what they needed. He was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; John Blackbear, Jimmy Blackbear, Gerald Blackbear, and Red Staller, and one sister Diane Williams. He is survived by his three children; Anthony Blackbear and his wife Letisha, LaDonna Blackbear and Tina Daniels and her husband Delbert, one brother Richard Blackbear and three sisters; Lois King, Margaret Goins, Mary Weeley and brother in-law Gerald Williams. Joseph was blessed with twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8PM, Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 2PM, Friday, May 20, 2016 at Brush Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Pritchett officiating. Joseph will be laid to rest in the Yellow Tree Cemetery in Jay, Oklahoma.
