Grove, Ok. - Josephine Ann Snider, 85, of Grove, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at The Village Nursing Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was born July 25, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York to Lawrence and Katherine Snider. In her lifetime, she served in World War II as a WAVE (Women's Auxiliary Navy) from 1941 to 1945, as a Specialist 2nd Class Petty Officer, Intelligence Division. Survivors include her niece, Kathy Arrington of Broken Arrow; nephew James Magrino of Farmington, Arkansas; two great-nieces and a great-nephew, Lauren Arrington, Kerri Arrington and Christopher Arrington and one great-great-niece, Tatum Arrington. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 14, 2007 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Grove offered by Father Alex Kennedy. Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
