Joyce Marie Sloan, 61 year old Vinita resident, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013. Joyce was born in Bristow, OK on July 19, 1952 to Roy and Anna (Barnett) Hodge. She was an avid OU fan. She enjoyed spending time with family, watching them play sports, and her many years working for Timemark in Tulsa. Survivors include her mother Anna Hodge of Bristow, children: Scott McGuire and wife Jozetta of Vinita, Dawn Goins and husband Tracy of Afton, Kevin McGuire and fiancé Autumn Maddoux of Verdigris, and Cassandra Gann of Tulsa, siblings: Lillie Wiedel of Coweta, Barbara "Corkey" Anderson of Slick, OK, Ralph Hodge of Montana, grandchildren: Laura Zelfen, Terri McGuire, Destiny Goins, Tyler Goins, Seth McGuire, Kylee McGuire, Alexis Currie, Ethan Stout, and Emily Stout and one great grandson Logan Zelfen. She is preceded in death by her father Roy Hodge, sister Patricia Summers , and brother Charles Hodge. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Fontanez officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
