Juanita Gagat

Juanita J Gagat, age 82 of Tulsa, died Sunday, December 12, 2010. Juanita was born in Vinita, OK on August 7, 1928, the daughter of Henry and Dora (Han) Whitfield. On July 7, 1951 she was united in marriage to William Thomas Gagat. Juanita enjoyed cooking and was very active in Catholic charities. Survivors include her siblings: Dorothy Donavant of Grove, Wanda Flood of Chelsea, Linda Collins, James Whitfield, Terry Whitfield, Bob Whitfield all of Vinita, and C. S. Whitfield of Tulsa, as well as two granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son Donald Allen, and siblings: J. D. Whitfield, Henry Whitfield Jr., Mary Alice Bates, and Nancy Owens. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 20, 2010 at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church with Father Carl Kerkemeyer officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
