Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home - Langley - 918-256-5557 Juanita Bernice Mathews, 85 year old Spavinaw resident, died Thursday, July 10, 2014. Juanita was born in Topsy, OK on August 31, 1928 to Frederick and Minnie (Haggard) Morrow. She attended and graduated from Jay High School. On January 13, 1948 she was united to Martin Mathews Jr and together they raised two sons. Juanita was known as the â�œRoad Warriorâ₝. She loved to drive each day to visit with friends and neighbors. Survivors include her sons, Matt Mathews III and John â�œNickâ₝ Mathews, and 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley with Pastor Stephen Nation officiating. Interment will follow at Spavinaw Cemetery.
