Juanita Thomason

Juanita Una Thomason, 93, a resident of Vinita since 1933 passed away at Craig General Hospital late Monday night. She was born June 25, 1913 in Carterville, MO to Robert M. and Martha Agnes (Walker) Wilkinson. Mrs. Thomason spent much of her time being involved in the First United Methodist Women's missions and had a love for porcelain painting. She was at one time a part of the scissorettes club, which sewed; She was an avid collector of local history and loved to compile pictures of her family and their history to pass on to her children and grandchildren. As a Christian, she also spent much time doing Bible study and visiting with her church friends. Survivors include her daughter Sharon DeGarimore of Eureka Springs, AR, two sons Stanley Thomason, of Roswell, GA and John Thomason of Gran Tara, OK on Grand Lake. Nine grandchildren Denton Thomason, John David Thomason, Rainy Thomason, Scott Thomason, Bobby DeGarimore, Debbie Roberts, Dana Haldeman, Diane DeGarimore and Kristen DeGarimore. Along with three Great Grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Vinita, OK on Friday, December 22, 2006.
