Judith Mcmullin

Judith Lee McMullin, 76 year old Vinita resident died Saturday April 14, 2012 at her home in Vinita. She was born August 13, 1935 in Canon City, Colorado to R.E. Darnell and Helen Vanderveer Darnell. Judy was raised traveling with the family to Job sites throughout Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas. The family returned back to Chelsea, Ok when Judy was in the 8th grade and graduated high school there. She was a member of the Church of God and was active in Aglow. She and Leon McMullin was united in marriage on October 17, 1952 in Chelsea, OK and made their home in the Vinita area. Judy owned and operated Ginger Jar Ceramic's in Vinita and worked later as a home health nurse. She enjoyed working with and painting Ceramics, art work, traveling and gardening, but mostly she loved being a wife, mother, and friend. Survivors include her husband Leon of the home, one daughter Reanay Brown of Claremore, two sisters, Patricia Limb of Germany and Sue Avilla of California, three grandchildren Jarel & Kathy Paige of Wisconsin, Tulani Paige of Broken Arrow, OK., Ashley Brown of Claremore. Also, four great grandchildren, Logan, Jordan, Teagan and McKenzie and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Roger McMullin. Funeral services will be Wednesday April 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home with Reverend Henry "Skip" McClain officiating, with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Vinita. Visitation will be Tuesday April 17 at Luginbuel Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
