Judy Allene Harrison Baker accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at age 13. Judy was born on December 23, 1937, youngest of 7 children, in Nowata Oklahoma to Louella (Boyce) and Albert J. Harrison. She died on November 19th, 2016 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She graduated from Nowata High School in 1955. During her Jr. and Sr. years of high school, until December of 1955, she was employed by Arthur Meyer, Attorney at Law. On December 6, 1955 she became an employee of the U.S. Bureau of Mines. After 13 years she went into business operating two fast-food drive-ins for the next 13 years. She then returned to the U.S. Government Corps of Engineers, retiring in 1994. Upon retiring she donated several hours to the Bartlesville Care Center Nursing Home. For ten and a half years she held church services at two nursing homes. During this time eleven individuals asked Jesus into their lives. Judy is survived by her children, Lynn Charice Ropp and husband Roger, of Bartlesville, David Russell Baker of St. Louis, Missouri, Brian Kirk Baker of Bartlesville, Susan Danette Martin and husband Michael, of Copan, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Jared Heath Ropp and wife Rachel, Ryan Andrew Ropp, Louella Allene Griffey; one great grandchild, Quinn Harper Ropp; siblings, Bud Harrison and wife Mary Sue, of Midland, Texas, Pat Connolly and husband Harry, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Charlene Flickinger and husband Jim, of Nowata; three lifelong friends from Bartlesville, Roberta Hall, Erville Orndorff, and Pat Lippitt; many other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Louella Harrison Pettit and husband Walter; father, Albert J. Harrison; a brother, Don Harrison; and sisters, Shirley McMunn, and Tommy Moore.
