Judy Davis

Judy D. Davis, 92, year resident of Claremore, formerly of Vinita, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at the Southcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. She was born August 19, 1920 in Craig County to Lester and Larena Mae (Solly) Greer. Judy was married to Ellis Davis on August 12, 1939; He preceded her in death on August 20, 2003. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vinita. Judy was active in her Sunday School Class, loved to sew and crochet. Judy made a lot of her children's clothes as they were growing up. She and Ellis always enjoyed gardening and canning vegetables. The family includes: her daughters, Peggy Council and husband Clyde of Claremore, Johna Davis of California; son Paul E. Davis and wife Judi of California; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Judi was preceded in death by her parents, husband and five siblings.
