Judy Olivan Donley, 61 year old resident of Big Cabin, died Sunday evening August 9, 2009 at the Craig General Hospital in Vinita. She was born March 31, 1948 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Dale and Pearl (Keiger) McAlary. She attended college at Oklahoma Panhandle State in Goodwell. While attending college she met her future husband Doug Donley, they were united in marriage on October 7, 1967 in Vici, Oklahoma. They have lived the last 25 years in Craig County, moving from Forsyth, Montana in 1984 to Vinita. Judy liked to sew, go to horse races and riding horses. Judy was a former Oklahoma High School Rodeo Queen, her daughter Alicia also held that title later and she was the Appaloosa Horseman's Association Queen. She was worked for many years at Cinch Connectors in Vinita. The family includes: her husband Doug of the home, her mother, Pearl McAlary of Vici; three children, Alicia Waterman and husband Larry of Flower Mound, Texas, Tey Donley of Tulsa, Van Donley and wife Amy of Afton; two sisters, Billie Williams and husband Fred of Warner, Oklahoma, Sandy Elliott and husband Brian of Arnett, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Drew Donley, Ashley Waterman, Scotty Waterman and Lela Donley. The funeral service for Judy O. Donley will be held Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Cowboy Junction, with Pastor Wade Markham officiating.
